Green Environment Specialist

Matthias Gelber graduated with Master in Environmental Science from Brunel University in the UK. Matthias went on to start a successful environmental consulting company in 1999. In 2007, he was co-founded Maleki GmbH, a German company specializing in high-performance low-carbon-footprint construction materials.

He was voted ‘Greenest Person on the Planet’ in a global online competition and he received the Green Icon of the year award in Malaysia in 2016. He built SE Asia’s first off-grid tiny mobile eco-home in Malaysia in 2017 and he has given eco talks in a professional capacity in 42 countries worldwide.

He has been a consultant and trainer for ADB, EPF, Shell, various Ministries, and many other diverse organizations. Currently, he is the Brand Ambassador for Avant Wood Finland and ESG Advisor for the Philippines Stock Exchange PSE.
